After some time, a baby will get used to the idea of wearing a hearing aid, and so he begins to grow unselfconscious about them. br /br /It is not mandatory for children with residual hearing to attend special institutions for the deaf, and with the possibility of hearing aids being used from the point of infancy, they are enabled to attend regular schools like everyone else. If hearing aids are used, then these children will have the opportunity to learn certain skills in their formative age, the skills that would help them converse with and understand the people around them. These devices have given a new life to these children, and used without any dishonor whatsoever, have freed them from a life of reclusiveness they could have been susceptible to./p
